Why does morph cut not work? ›

Morph Cut has some inherent limitations. Problems can occur with movement in the background, far-away subjects, hands in the shot, or excess head movement.

Morph only works in PowerPoint 2016 (most versions) or later on desktop. If you have an earlier version, it won't work. Your description suggests that you are initially viewing in the browser, where morph will work, and then it's not working on the desktop version, so it's likely an older version.
